Midwives` day

People from the Plovdiv village Bresnik showed how they have celebrated the midwives` day centures ago when there havent bean doctors, but experienced willage women. Twenty amateurs from the village cultural club were dressed in folklore and mummer clothes and they created the ritual of washing the baby on the peasant washbasin. They also played a ring-dance on the willage square under the sounds of the Konushenski orchestra.
